The diverse forms of life on earth are an effort by the creator of this universe to create an ambience for all life forms to coexist in peace and tranquility. Otherwise why would somebody create the diversity that we witness in the universe? Humans on top of the evolution ladder of diversity with matured brain and Intelligence have been ruling the world to their whims and fancies. But then are we going in the right direction to sustain our self and continue to grow with peace and tranquility?  This question needs to be urgently addressed and debated through an International forum like the United Nations to take into consideration the changing thoughts of humans and arrive at an amicable principle to ensure that all humans live on this only planet earth with mutual respect and peace.

 With the evolution of humans on earth for the past 10000 years humans have undergone a sea-change in their skills for survival. Today virtually the entire globe is home to humans.  With the migration from Africa to other parts of the world, humans have spread to different regions on the earth and adapted to their region with their own diverse customs, culture, religion, food habits, lifestyle etc. This diverse culture in humans has lead to curiosity among humans leading to several scholars burning their midnight oil to document and preserve the heritage of diverse cultures across the world. This precious documentation of human heritage is an interesting and surprising piece of information that should lead us to a better life on earth through adaptation of human friendly customs, and practices observed by diverse cultures across the world. It is time for a global body to look into all those customs and practices which also have evolved certain Dos and Don’ts for humans and make a concerted effort to take a look at all such human friendly sustenance efforts and draw to a conclusion a combined universal common laws that can act as a guide line for different countries to adapt keeping the core principles of humanity in focus and devise universal laws for punishing those who act against the principles of humanity.

With new inventions in various fields, the life style of humans, each new day is more comfortable than it was a few days back. At the same time there is a large barrier built across the earth between the rich and poor, mighty defense (Powerful) and weak defense (weak) countries.  This can be attributed to some of the factors like Knowledge rich (Intelligence), Manufacturing rich, abundant natural resources, abundant human resources, productive population, literacy etc.   As the power of knowledge grows equitable distribution of knowledge among the population across the globe is missing leading to difference in comfort levels of humans living in different parts of the globe.  The intelligence migrations to a few countries on the earth as become the order of the day. The other countries are losing their knowledge base and are left behind with lackluster mediocre human resources. Mediocre human resources with growing population in some of the countries have resulted in a very high level of competition among individuals for their survival. Lack of education, even if educated, poor understanding of the subject without sufficient skills required for the industry, social status and other complicated structure of the society forbids an individual to lead a decent livelihood making a big impact on the social fabric of a country. Further in some countries fanatic religious culture, fostering and pleasing a particular religion or language for political gains, freebies etc have deepened the gorge between different sections of the society.

In a country like India with diverse cultures, traditions and religious practices it is still more difficult to satisfy every body’s thoughts and ideas and amalgamate towards a uniform humanitarian law that will hold good through a democratic process. However with the historical beatings taken by the country through several invasions and forced cultures on Indians through the invasions, today it is more of a broken civic sense that imbibes into our understanding of humanity taken in a lighter vein by the political forces to their convenience of vote bank politics. Looking at the present state of affairs it is any body’s guess that we will not be able to sustain our human values at the current rate of erosion of values. It is therefore necessary to give a serious thought on this basic fundamental idea of humanity for sustenance of human race in the future. It is urgently required to take into stock our adoption of human values in various sectors of governance and revive them with prime importance to humanity. May be we can start with the law enforcement authorities, environment and judicial authorities to start with and slowly cover all other sectors to ensure that human values are upheld at every stage. Evolve a uniform code for all citizens irrespective of caste and religion so that humanity will be alive all across the world. It is imminent to sustain the unity among diversity through a uniform enforcement of humanity code for a peaceful world that we would leave for our children.
